Job Description
* In support of Network/Cyberspace Operations mission, leads teams and performs Directory and Authentication Services.
* Responsible for the daily performance and availability of the organization's network.
* Analyzes network and recommends upgrades/changes; assesses organization's current and future network needs.
* Oversees the daily operations of network staff and records incidents and changes.
* Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
* True first level manager.
* Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities From PWS/SOW
* Leads the planning and designing of an organization's systems infrastructure. Ensures the accuracy and effectiveness of the system meet business/customers' requirements.
* Monitors the performance of systems and suggests improvements.
* Verifies and reviews system related documents/reports including installation procedures.
* Typically requires a Bachelor's or relevant experience with industry certifications.
* Typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department.
* Works autonomously.
* Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms.
* May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization.
* Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
* Typically requires 10+ years of related experience
Education & Experience
* Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, and 10+ years of related experience
Certifications
* Required
o IAT II - CySA+, or Security+ (or equivalent), or higher
o Cloud+, Dell Certified Associate - Information Storage and Management (DCA-ISM)
o VMWare Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)
o VMWare Certified Technical Associate - Network Virtualization (VCTA-NV)
o Cloud+ Associate
* Desired
o ITIL v4 Foundation
o ITIL v4 Specialist - Create, Deliver and Support
Security Clearance
* Top Secret
Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
* IAT II = CySA+, Security+, CCNA - Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP or higher
* Shift - Days. This is a 24/7/365 mission and extended hours/days may be required
