Co-op: An 8-month long opportunity, Co-op positions are full-time employment experience. Co-ops are fully immersed into the worlds of corporate and production industry as full-time team member.

Internship: A semester long opportunity, Internships positions are a part-time employment experience. With the opportunity to extend multiple semesters, interns tap into the foundations of our corporate and production industries.

Co-op and Intern opportunities span across 18 of Bobcat's different functions.

This opportunity will be located in West Fargo, ND.

Role & Responsibility

• Solve problems, answer important business questions and identify trends using analytical tools and processes for the Product Management group
• Develop dashboards and reports in Oracle Analytics Cloud Sevice (OACS), Power BI or any other similar visualization tools to satisfy requests for product management
• Use tools and processes to focus on driving data quality and integrity through data mapping and cleaning
• Focus on the processes and tools involved for data analysis (Collect > Enrich > Refine > Analyze > Present); data mining, ETL process, visualization
• Gain knowledge of where to find any contextual business data that adds value to the existing data
• Learn and apply different approaches (Data mining) to analyze the data through quantitative analysis (ie. correlation, multiple regression, etc)
• Apply computer programming skills to organize, manage and analyze large sets of data using SQL, Python, R, etc
• Gain an indepth understanding of products

Job Requirement

• Junior or Senior standing seeking a degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics or any technology related program
• 3.0 or higher GPA
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Team player, fast learner,ad adaptable to change
• A self-starter and will dig into problems independently and will look for limited guidance
• Be able to commit to Doosan Bobcat for the entire term of the co-op (8 months) or internship (4 mos)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge and experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Oracle DV, Tableau, etc.)
• Basic experience in data analysis and statistical analysis skills are desired (Descriptive Statistics, Data Mining)
• Understanding of database structure and the use of programming language to pull large data from database (SQL, Python, etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must
