Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft Texas is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Accountant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the month end close procedures
- Preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting financial reporting to divisions and Corporate
- Assisting with fixed assets, tracking of CEA processand placing assets in services
- Maintaining and continuously improving the internal control structure.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters of Business Administration or CPA
- Manufacturing accounting experience
- SAP or similar ERP experience
