AP Accountant

Ledgent is partnering with growing construction company in North Haven, CT to hire an AP Accountant. This position is expected to be fully on-site Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am-4pm. Salary is between $50,000-70,000/annually, depending on experience. They are looking for eager, communicative, detail-oriented individuals ready to hit the ground running in this fast-paced role.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Project Managers & Administrators to ensure invoices are matched accurately to subcontracts & purchase orders
• Generate & review month job cost reports
• Process weekly over 100 invoices weekly
• Request & maintain W-9s
• Handle vendor account set up & management

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands on experience in accounts payable or junior accounting role
• Construction industry highly preferred (manufacturing, wholesale, distribution & related industries are welcome to apply!)
• AS or BS Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
• ERP experience (Spectrum is a plus)
