Location: Chelsea, MA
Description: Our client is currently seeking an Application Developer

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Design and develop code using VB.Net and C#
• Analyze code and component dependencies and develop a configuration-based system
• Work with SQL server databases
• Understand process design and technical requirements documentation.
• Work both independently and within a project team to design, develop, and deliver software solutions for new and existing functionality.
• Analyze and build data for tests, and triage defects to conclude, define issues, and make appropriate recommendations.
• Act as a reliable source for early feedback on new functionality and feature changes
• Be able to document work and knowledge transfer as required
• Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced changing environment and manage changing priorities

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 4-5 years of Software development experience using VB.Net (Required)
• Proficient in SQL Server database development techniques (Required)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) (Required)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Superior organizational skills, self-driven with attention to detail and follow-through on tasks.
• Knowledge of Tax business processes
