Overview

The Associate Director, Organizational Transformation & Development creates and enables innovative, employee-centric strategies to engage employees in high priority transformation initiatives that support our strategic priorities, develop our workforce, and uphold our unique culture. This role develops and deploys change management strategy, communications, and learning; driving awareness, adoption, and sustainability of transformation that impacts the broader Insmed employee population. The Associate Director, Organizational Transformation & Development is highly collaborative, partnering across teams and functions to ensure effective and impactful execution of transformation and development efforts.

Responsibilities

Essential Role Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging change management frameworks, such as Prosci, partner across HR and project/functional leadership teams to design, develop, implement, and evaluate solutions that promote awareness, adoption and reinforcement of key organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Develop transformation engagement strategies and content, inclusive of change management plans, internal communications, and learning/knowledge management; ensure alignment of transformation efforts with broader organizational strategies and Insmed culture.
    • Create learning and development programs and content to support cultural and organizational transformation, including toolkits, Quick Reference Guides, workshops, and on-demand learning content.
    • Collaborate with Corporate Communications to leverage Insmed communication channels to effectively engage employees, leaders and key stakeholders with transformation efforts
    • Drive faster adoption and deeper employee engagement through creative approaches to communications and learning.
  • Engage HR Business Partners and manage key stakeholders to embed desired behavior and mindset shifts within our culture and workforce.
  • Lead "voice of customer" sessions and focus groups, and leverage data and insights from other sources (i.e. pulse survey, new hire surveys, etc.), to ensure strategies and content are employee-centric and impactful.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure change adoption and impact; adapt change management strategies and communications efforts based on data-driven decisions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder presentations, change workshops, and training, as needed.
  • Build a transformation COE:
    • standardize Insmed's approach to managing change and create a toolkit of templates, workshops, and other content to be leveraged when implementing transformation initiatives across the organization.
    • upskill and equip the Insmed employee population with change management capabilities.
    • consult on smaller scale change initiatives and coach change practitioners across the organization to embed standardized transformation management approaches.
  • Apply knowledge of change management methodologies, tools and processes, human resources/OD practices, and strategic communication approaches.
  • Manage and partner with identified change management or learning vendors, as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organization Development, Communications or other related field required
  • 5-7+ years of related experience within HR, Organizational Change Management, Communications or Learning & Development required; prior experience in Pharma and/or Biotech a plus
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience and success supporting large-scale org change/transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of change management methodology and tools, human resources/OD practices, and strategic communication approaches.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships, consult, influence and collaborate across all levels and functions in a global organization
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication skills necessary, including experience crafting communications for a Global, organization-wide audience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing training programs and related learning assets.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and delivering training to a multi-level, cross-functional audience
  • Ability to generate and implement creative ideas and innovate to enable impactful change
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow through, with ability to be flexible and adapt to change.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and collaborate across all levels and functions within a global organization.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Salary Range

$139,000 - $195,200 a year
