Key Responsibilities :Juniata College invites applicants for the full-time position of Associate Director of Facilities Services.
Primary Role:
Plans, monitors, supervises and manages central storeroom, custodial services, and Service Response Center; develops and manages assigned projects.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for custodial services, garbage and recycling services, moves and setups, central storeroom operations, and Service Response Center operations.
* Responsible for assessing buildings for safety and cleanliness, including developing short-term and long-term project lists.
* Responsible for assessing central stores and custodial services for quality of services provided, safety, productivity, and best practices, including developing short-term and long-term goals and objectives.
* Responsible for assessing the Service Response Center for quality of services provided, including developing short-term and long-term goals and objectives.
* Provides project management services for assigned projects; oversees minor renovations and construction projects.
* Responsible for supervision of direct reports including leadership, recruitment, training, development and scheduling.
* Maintains fiscal responsibility within custodial services budgets.
* Performs related duties as assigned.

* Knowledge and capabilities normally acquired through a high school diploma. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
* At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor in custodial, building maintenance, or related field.
* Effective written and oral communication skills.
* Effective computer skills, including proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
* Valid PA driver's license.
Works independently within established policies, procedures and guidelines. Must work cooperatively and collaboratively with diverse individuals and groups. Supervises Central Stores staff, Custodial Services staff, and Service Response staff.
Preferred Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
