What You Will Contribute:


You will work with all functional areas in the company to resolve any customer related questions with the highest degree of accuracy, effectiveness and promptness. You will be able to assist the customer from start to finish and provide world class Customer Care along the way.

Job Duties:

  • Quote and work with Engineering & Marketing, etc. on specifications to meet customer requirements, selection of product accessories, setting priorities for product testing, and enhancements to our software tools and systems.
  • Complete all customer inquiries such as quoting, order entry, order status, and returns in a timely manner and continue to follow up with the customer, updating them of any changes, until the case is closed out and completed.
  • Enter orders, follow up with customers with order status, review order for accuracy.
  • Act as the primary resource for product and application questions received by Customer Service Representatives by learning and understanding the technology and benefits of all of the products available to recommend the best product for customer applications.
  • Process return material authorizations for warranty, repair and/or calibration.
  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
  • Review the technical aspects and documentation requirements and coordinate and provide these elements for major project quotations by using software and other tools.
  • Act as an internal escalation point for advanced customer related issues.
  • Provide product training to internal staff and to external customers and reps as requested.

Education and Experience:
  • Associate's degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred
  • 0-1 years of related experience in customer service preferred

Qualifications:
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Work is performed in close proximity to others.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
