An employee-owned engineering and environmental consulting firm providing services across North America and globally since the early 1900s. Our team of engineers, scientists, and specialists collaborates to manage, process, and restore natural resources.

Job Duties:

As a key member of the finance business support group, this role provides accounting support to project teams, including:

  • Setting up projects in Deltek Vantagepoint and assisting project managers with work breakdown structures.
  • Reviewing contracts and purchase orders before invoicing.
  • Preparing and sending invoices in accordance with contractual obligations.
  • Previewing project reports with managers to identify necessary corrective actions.
  • Running project reports and analyzing budget vs. actual spending.
  • Collaborating with project managers to ensure timely collection of receivables and resolving accounting issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
  • Experience with Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLookups).
  • Experience in multi-currency and multi-company environments.
Top 3 Wants:
  • 3+ years of itemized billing/customized invoicing experience (mid to senior level preferred).
  • Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint (strongly preferred).
  • Advanced Excel user.
Additional Info:
  • Schedule: Regular 7:30am-4:30pm (flexible scheduling)
  • Location: Bloomington, hybrid/remote
