In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

▪ Maintain, and execute BBR production manufacturing processes for enzymes and master mix products. Unit operations include liquid blending, fermentation, lysis, filtration and clarification, liquid chromatography, and tangential flow filtration. Process analytical testing performed utilizes a variety of methods based on applied biochemistry and molecular biology.

▪ Collaborate with BBR leadership and team, performing experiments to troubleshoot and improve production methods, as required. Participate in technology transfer of new methods from development to operations.

▪ Participate in quality system improvements related to manufacturing, including updating and authoring of SOP's.

The essential requirements of the job include:

▪ Minimum of 2+ years of experience with production of proteins and master mix products is required. Experience with quality system procedures such as change control, deviation, nonconformance, and good documentation practice are required.

▪ Experience with two or more of the following is required: microbial fermentation, liquid chromatography, bioanalytical testing of protein products, operation of PLC / SCADA operated production equipment.

▪ Associate degree or bachelor degree in science, engineering or related field required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

▪ Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related field.

▪ Experience performing process and method troubleshooting is preferred.

▪ Experience writing SOP's is preferred.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
