RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Communications Specialist II.Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement and evaluate communications strategy targeting internal and external stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, community partners, alumni, parents, donors and prospective donors
  • Serve as project manager for content creation and marketing communications
  • Cultivate, write, edit and disseminate stories
  • Design or supervise design of visually appealing and relevant content for electronic and print distribution
  • Create, manage and sustain an impactful online presence through social media, website and/or targeted email marketing to internal and external stakeholders
  • May supervise staff and/or student workers
  • Contribute to initiatives, meetings and events
  • Perform other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, English, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business Administration, English or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive responsibility in the area of marketing communications
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic communications and experience integrating the latest technologies to support communications objectives
  • Experience in leading and facilitating teams to develop targeted marketing communications plans
  • Experience in generating and using market research data to drive plan development
  • Experience with fundraising communications
  • Professional experience in nonprofits, civic engagement, public service, community development, higher education, K-12 education, social movements and/or domestic/international volunteering


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
