Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Controller for a manufacturing company located in Horsham, Pa area.

Title: Controller

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000

Location: Horsham, Pa

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Accounting Department to ensure adherence to all company accounting, reporting, and tax obligations, while maintaining efficient processes and robust internal controls.

• Guarantee that annual financial statements are prepared in line with US GAAP (or local GAAP when applicable) and supervise the company's financial statement review process with external accountants.

• Maintain a high level of proficiency in USGAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations to ensure the company's compliance with new standards, code modifications, and trends.

• Manage fundamental accounting processes and functions, including accruals, reserves, Fixed Assets, FX accounting, and Consolidation.

• Oversee daily operations related to the general ledger and financial records to ensure the completeness and accuracy of reports.

• Handle the month/quarter/year-end close process, which includes preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial reports to understand trends and provide accurate and timely analysis.

• Assist with the financial aspects of the Company's ESOP, including accounting journal entries, financial reporting, banking, funding of loan payments, calculations of dividends, distributions, and related activities.

• Contribute to cost accounting and inventory valuation processes.

• Handle tax preparation and filing.

• Facilitate and manage the annual insurance renewal process and other tasks with external parties.

• Develop and support improvements in finance/operations processes.

• Support the implementation of the Company's Strategic Plan by ensuring the team has the necessary resources to support any initiatives as needed.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and consistently seek opportunities to enhance procedures, policies, and resources.

• Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and workflows.

• Provide support and assistance to other areas of the Company and offer project assistance as needed.

• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree, Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years in manufacturing

• CPA a plus

• 5+ years in a leadership role

• International experience a plus

• Cost Accounting
