Description:
The Judge Group is currently seeking a Cost Accounting Analyst for a client in the Winchester, VA area.

MUST HAVE: Bachelors Degree

MUST HAVE: Experience in a manufacturing environment

COMPENSATION: $55,000 - $75,000

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions, including cycle counts.
• Monitor inventory movements to identify and address significant issues promptly.
• Develop expertise in manufacturing operations, focusing on cost analysis and business insights.
• Create costing models to support new business opportunities aligned with pricing strategies.
• Continuously improve profit and cost efficiencies across various areas of the organization.
• Track the cost per unit for all finished goods SKUs.
• Perform annual standard cost development and cost roll processes.
• Analyze cost and variance trends, recommending appropriate actions.
• Prepare monthly operational reports on material, labor, and overhead efficiency compared to plan and standards.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses as requested by business or regulatory authorities.
• Fulfill other duties as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Math, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Proven expertise in advanced analytics.
