This position will support staff in gathering and organizing tax-related information for clients in accounting software and paper format and providing copies to clients as needed. In addition, this position is responsible for performing general office administrative and management tasks. We are recruiting for a full-time Administrative Assistant who has strong customer service skills, is organized and detail-oriented, has superior technical skills, and is eager and able to learn new systems and processes while meeting deadlines. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of administrative experience. We have an opening that will be based in Griffin, GA, but will assist with covering Barnesville, GA as well.
* Fully onsite in Griffin, GA
* Pay range $18
* Seasonal starting ASAP until end of April 2024
*Availability to go part time once season finishes
* Full time hours 8AM-5PM in season- PT hours 9AM-1PM
Responsibilities for the position include the following:
Provide superior customer service to clients and guests by phone and in the office
Manage front desk phone system
Schedule appointments between clients and company staff using Microsoft Outlook
Assemble tax returns
Set up new clients in company time and billing system
Maintain and update information in company tax workflow system
Track and process e-filing returns and monitor acceptance/rejection notifications
Prepare and send billing statements
Utilize a variety of software systems to assemble and complete tax returns
Qualifications:
* Must have a high level of technical proficiency using computer programs and software
* Minimum of 2 years administrative experience required
* Must be familiar with Microsoft Office
