Volt is immediately hiring for Customer Service Representative in Stockton, CA.
As a Customer Service you will:
Answering and directing incoming calls.
- Gathering information from customers to assist in picking the proper product for the intended application, and offering alternates from inventory if applicable.
- Quoting prices over the phone, preparing and delivering written quotations.
- Processing Orders:
- Accepting orders via phone/fax/email
- Purchasing products from U.S. vendors for non-inventoried products
- Preparing drawings Gathering credit information for new customers
- Expediting orders and obtaining shipping information as needed.
- Issuing and writing Authorized Returns, insuring that the reason for return and/or product failure is noted, and the proper paperwork is attached.
- Handling customer complaints and solving customer problems in a timely manner.
- Assisting Engineers/Designers with technical and product information.
- Assisting other Sales personnel and office staff as needed.
- Performing such other duties as may be requested by the Customer Service Supervisor.
This is a full time opportunity. Schedule: 7:00am to 4:00pm to start, will change after The ideal candidate will have:
- Must possess computer skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Word
- MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE .
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have basic typing abilities and a strong desire to service the customers.
- 18 years or older
Pay Rate:
$16.40 per hour PLUS COMMISSION *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
