We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Team. In this role you will oversee the entire delivery department which includes drivers, helpers, and driver check-in personnel. You will be responsible for ensuring drivers meet DOT and CMV criteria and oversee company delivery fleet's maintenance program.
Our Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or minimum of five (5) years related experience.

Our Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
• Strong communication skills - written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Platforms - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email Software.
• Strong logistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills in directing and coaching others.

Your Responsibilities

• Train new Drivers and Driver helpers on Glazer's Beer and Beverage delivery policies.
• Conducts safety meetings and trains staff members on safety issues.
• Ensure that all drivers have current and updated DOT/CMV/Medical Card certifications and licenses.
• Oversee the daily maintenance of the Roadnet Routing System.
• Directs dispatching and routing activities and tracks delivery vehicles.
• Schedules all department personnel's vacations and time off request.
• Responsible for the recruiting and hiring of all Drivers and Driver Helpers.
• In collaboration with other managers, develops and implements policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for delivery operations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to drive a delivery vehicle up to 10 hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift between 40-50 lbs. for an extended period.
