Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our team as a Temporary Dental Receptionist. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a crucial role in maintaining an organized and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
* Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments in accordance with patient needs and availability.
* Manage patient flow to ensure timely service and minimal wait times.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Handle patient inquiries in person and via telephone, providing clear and concise information.
* Process patient billing and verify insurance coverage.
* Prepare and maintain the reception area to ensure a clean and organized environment.
* Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
* Assist with other duties as needed to support the dental office team.
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in office administration or medical administration is a plus.
* Proven experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting preferred.
* Familiarity with dental terminology and dental practice management software preferred.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
