Kimberly-Clark is looking for an ambitious, self-driven and talented individual to lead the Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) Capital Engineering Facilities Team. This role is responsible for driving a multi-year sustaining (replacement) capital strategy, supporting critical facility and infrastructure expansions, as well as standard creation and benchmarking for K-C across several critical areas to gain efficiencies and optimize ongoing Capital spending for Kimberly-Clark.

Role Accountabilities

  • Drives clarity around and/or creation of standards to be leveraged for new facility builds, including greenfield and brownfields, expansions, warehouses and other building or infrastructure work.
  • Create and execute a Sustaining (Replacement) Capital Strategy
  • Drive cost efficiencies through contract improvements and standard approach to ongoing upgrades, facility maintenance and more.
  • Drives overall improvements in the management/maintenance of our facilities through monitoring industry standards, technology and process improvements (lean energy for example) and more.
  • Leads creation of and adherence to critical engineering safety and sustainability standards in partnership with the VP of Occupational Health & Safety and the Chief Sustainability Officer and their teams.
  • Works in partnership with Global Business Solutions real estate team to assess opportunities, manage risk and drive decisions including acquisition of facilities and land enabling the maximum supply chain value stream, as well as disposition of facilities or land which is no longer needed.
  • Ensures management of risk (in partnership with Risk Management) with all projects to meet risk and compliance requirements while being as cost effective as possible.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or related field
  • At least 10 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated expertise leading and delivering large facility and infrastructure related capital decisions in partnership with both internal partners and external entities including governmental agencies.
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experience in implementing sustainable and environmental-efficient solutions
  • Understanding of basic construction/building code requirements leveraged in manufacturing and production facilities
  • Proficient knowledge of global manufacturing trends and best practices in capital project management
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities​
  • Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed organization and hierarchy
  • Effective, consistent global communications and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel for on-site assessments and collaboration with segments and ABUs globally (up to 25%)
