EHR Business Analyst

Note: This is a Remote Position, but candidates need to be local in Wisconsin.

One of our clients in Madison,Wisconsin is looking for a EHR Business Analyst with the following skills and experience.

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced EHR Business Analyst for supporting and optimizing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, ensuring seamless functionality and workflow integration for clinical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and maintain EHR/EMR software (e.g., Oracle Cerner).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance provider, pharmacy, and nursing workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while ensuring stakeholder communication.
• Perform software testing, upgrades, and configurations.
• Identify and drive process improvements and optimizations.
• Develop reports and dashboards using tools like SAP Business Objects.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with EHR/EMR implementation, configuration, and support.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, including provider, pharmacy, and nursing processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and system development life cycles (SDLC).
• Proficiency in tools such as SQL, JIRA, and Visio.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in healthcare within corrections or government environments.
• Knowledge of test automation, UAT, and reporting tools.

Additional Information:

• Location: Remote within Wisconsin
• Duration: Through June 2025 with potential extensions.
