Description:
As a Senior Employee Relations Partner, you will leverage your expertise in HR, employment law, and business acumen to uphold our organizational values and foster a positive work environment. Your primary responsibilities include executing the employee relations (ER) strategy, managing complex ER issues, and proactively preventing potential disputes. You will conduct thorough investigations, develop investigative strategies, and create comprehensive documentation to support case resolution. Additionally, you will offer strategic insights for immediate and long-term preventative measures.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as the primary contact for ER, behavioral, and compliance inquiries from team members.
  • Conduct interviews to collect information, evaluate the gravity of concerns, and provide either coaching or investigative support.
  • Collaborate with Legal, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), and other stakeholders to ensure impartial investigations and alignment with company policies.
  • Advise HRBPs on addressing performance-related concerns, ensuring all documentation is consistent and thorough.
  • Maintain case records, analyze ER trends, and work with HRBPs and legal teams to mitigate ER risks.
  • Offer workplace-related recommendations based on investigation outcomes, adhering to company policies.
  • Engage in key ER projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Update and manage HR policies and procedures.
  • Establish robust partnerships with compliance, legal, HR, security, and other departments to maintain trust and accountability.
  • Stay abreast of emerging ER challenges and proactively suggest solutions to address them, while ensuring compliance and supporting business goals.
  • Handle additional duties as needed.
What You'll Bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or a background in legal affairs, with PHR/SPHR certification being advantageous.
Your Skills & Experience:
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, with consideration given to all forms of relevant work, education, transferable skills, and military service.
  • A proven track record of proactive collaboration, influencing resolutions, driving change, and partnering to implement effective solutions.
  • The ability to work autonomously or with teams to manage and investigate allegations thoroughly and provide guidance on investigation protocols.
  • Strong judgment skills and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage and execute tasks independently.
