Your Role:

• Oversee the Capital Expenditure Program, including the development and adjustment of tactical and strategic plans for capital equipment and facility improvements.
• Create Capital Expenditure Requests, develop cost justifications, research budgetary costs, and integrate the latest technology for various projects, ranging from individual equipment to major systems.
• Supervise the installation of Capital Expenditure Projects, manage staff, oversee project design, vendor selection, procurement, installation, and start-up.
• Manage Engineering and Maintenance Departmental issues, including budgets, communication, development plans, and annual performance reviews.
• Manage departmental metrics, develop improvement plans, and support site and departmental process improvements.
• Direct and oversee specific Maintenance Department projects and conduct project work involving cost-saving improvements and safety enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 requirements within the area of responsibility.
• Evaluate equipment, spare parts, supplies, and service needs for the facility and respond to emergency situations.
• Manage/oversee all maintenance/service contractors and vendors performing work on-site related to capital expenditure projects and ongoing maintenance/facility service work.
• Meet with superiors, peers, and external teams for planning, analysis, development, and communication.
• Provide end-customer support, administer facility utilities program, and perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or PhD in Engineering or other scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA preferred.
• 1+ year of direct supervision of maintenance mechanics.
• 2+ years of experience with departmental and capital budgets preferred.
• 1+ year of experience working within an automation environment preferred.
• Facilities Management Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems, Blue Mountain preferred.
• Working knowledge of Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Regulatory requirements.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Ability to perform well under pressure, understand the big picture, thrive in a constantly changing environment, and possess excellent problem-solving, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to don required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
