BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Engineering Technician for an opportunity in Chandler, AZ!

Position Title: Engineering Technician

Location: Chandler, AZ

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 6+ months

Job Type: FULL TIME 40 hours a week, CONTRACT, ONSITE
Pay Range: [$36/hr] - [$38/hr]

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Job Description:

• Experience: Test technician or Systems technician for processor systems or HW Validation technician.
• Familiar with board Assy and rework process
• Experience with common test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Electronic loads, Digital multimeters, Logic Analyzers, Power supplies, etc.)
• Capability to navigate a schematic, correlate with a PCB layout, and locate components on a circuits board
• Perform the initial root cause of issues encountered during general use of development test systems, and during HW validation and enumeration cycling (hardware & software)
• Ability to assemble/rework standard computer systems from raw components, experience with
• Windows OS, experience updating/configure system BIOS, and experience programming firmware via common industry tools (dediprog etc)
• Education: Electrical or electronic technician with some SW expertise in Python or similar
• Minimum Educational Requirement: BS degree preferred, min AS degree.
