Antea USA, Inc. (Antea®Group) is a global provider of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) services and solutions across multiple industries. We are seeking an Environmental Insurance Project Manager specializing in Mold and Water Intrusion to support our growth within the Insurance Sector.

As an Environmental Insurance Project Manager, you will use your expertise to oversee pollution claim projects, including mold-related projects, ensuring that all activities are consistent with regulatory and industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of environmental risks associated with various types of environmental pollution conditions, insurance claim practices, remediation/abatement contractor practices, and industry standards to develop, manage, and implement effective solutions for our clients.

This is a full-time, remote role with up to 25% travel required.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the lifecycle of pollution-related insurance claim projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client requirements are met.
  • Evaluate environmental risks and exposures via desktop review and in-person site visits, working closely with client's claim managers to identify and mitigate potential liabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance on environmental remediation, contamination control, and prevention strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on environmental-related claim projects, maintaining clear and proactive communication to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, ensuring all reporting is accurate and consistent with environmental regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, claims teams, environmental consultants, and legal experts to provide comprehensive environmental-related insurance solutions.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions for internal teams on environmental risks, remediation techniques, and regulatory changes.
  • Non-insurance related environmental projects may be assigned as well
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Risk Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3 years of experience in environmental insurance, environmental abatement/restoration contracting, or environmental consulting with a strong focus on mold.
  • Mold related certifications in inspection or remediation (e.g., CMR, CMRS) is highly desirable
  • Experience with emergency response work and familiarity with environmental insurance claims, with an emphasis on mold is a plus. This can include but not be limited to site investigations, water intrusion assessments, moisture mapping, mold sampling and remediation protocols, remediation oversight and post remediation verification.
  • A proven track record of strong project management performance
  • Experience in environmental remediation, regulatory compliance, and due diligence
  • Experience driving projects through regulatory programs and negotiating site closure with regulators
  • Sharp eye for detail with strong analytical skills to review financial documents, catch errors, and break down complex costs. Ability to present findings clearly to help optimize expenses.
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced organization.
  • A strong desire to communicate, influence, lead a team, and engage directly with multiple clients and stakeholders. The candidate must also be receptive to direction and coaching from clients and team members.
  • Superior analytical/problem-solving skills along with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Potential employees must be able to satisfactorily complete a background check, pre-employment drug screening (as permitted by law), and baseline physical (safety-sensitive roles). They must also have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment - Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities, which may include the following:

  • Sedentary to light work (typical office or administrative work)
  • Frequently required to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of low (under 25lbs) to moderate (25-49lbs) weight objects
  • Repetitive motions: substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers (including reaching)
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions (protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change)
  • Operation of a motor vehicle
Additionally, if you are assigned work in the field at client project sites you will need to complete a medical surveillance/fitness-for-duty examination and maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:

  • Medium to heavy work
  • Subject to outside environmental conditions: heat/cold, wind, wet and/or humid, etc.
  • Occasional stooping (bending body downward and forward), kneeling (bending legs at knee), crouching (bending body downward and forward) and climbing
  • Frequent lifting (including push/pull, hold/carry) of light, moderate and possibly heavy weight objects
  • Subject to hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, including but not limited to: proximity to moving vehicles, parts or equipment; exposure to chemicals; pressure (including noise); electrical hazards; biological hazards; excavation/trenching; confined spaces; elevated work; materials handling
  • May be required to wear an air purifying respirator
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000. Compensation will vary depending on the applicant's job-related knowledge and skills, education, and work experience.
