JOB DESCRIPTION

Wood is seeking an "Expression of Interest" for Fabric Maintenance Supervisor to work on a long-term LNG Terminal Maintenance project located in Brownsville, TX. The Fabric Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Fabric Maintenance team, ensuring the effective execution of painting, coating, and insulation activities. This role involves daily operational management, including conducting pre-start meetings and toolbox talks, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and maintenance procedures. The supervisor will also handle incident investigations, CMMS updates, equipment management, and performance management of the team. This position requires strong leadership skills, relevant certifications, and extensive experience in a maintenance supervisory role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision: Oversee the Fabric Maintenance team, including painting, coating, and insulation activities.
  • Daily Operations: Conduct daily pre-start meetings and toolbox talks to ensure team readiness and safety.
  • Schedule Management: Ensure the execution and compliance of maintenance schedules.
  • Incident Investigation: Provide inputs for incident investigations to improve safety and processes.
  • CMMS Updates: Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with accurate data.
  • Reporting: Prepare and ensure compliance with maintenance reports.
  • Equipment Management: Manage, certify, and ensure accountability for all equipment used by the team.
  • Procedure Adherence: Ensure the team follows all established procedures and processes.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and manage the performance of the team, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Timekeeping: Oversee time writing and manage timesheets for the team.


QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
  • Certification: NCCER Industrial Coating and Lining Application Specialist Level 4 (including supervision) or NACE certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a Maintenance Supervisor role, preferably in an industrial setting.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS and other maintenance management tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and incident investigation procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
