Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner
Location: On-site - Fort Myers, FL

Schedule:

• Per Diem - Average of 25-30 hours per week, but position is "As-needed"

Highlights:

• Work in a well-supported health center environment with a team of 3 providers, 5 medical assistants, 1 radiology technician, and a facility manager.
• On-site care with no night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an NP, working independently in internal medicine or family practice settings.
• Ability to practice independently in Florida.
• DEA licensure and prescriptive authority.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• BLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and passion for health and wellness education.
• High energy and customer-focused.

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care treatment in an employer-based health center.
• Offer episodic care for low acuity urgent care needs.
• Manage chronic diseases and provide acute pediatric care for ages 2 and up.
• Perform CLIA-waived tests and dispense prescription medications (Florida Dispensing License required).
• Collaborate with on-site staff to deliver biometric screening and health education.
• Provide one-on-one health coaching and refer patients to wellness programs.
