RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Reporting in Reston, VA.Key Tasks:- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Manage quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Q and 10-K reports
- Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and reviews
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management
- Support various accounting projects and initiatives as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Active CPA license required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
