NOTE: This is a 100% remote position. Candidates will be working on PST hours

One of our clients in Southern California is looking for Guidewire/PolicyCenter Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Must Haves:

• Experience: 6+ years as a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) or Business Analyst (BA), with a preference for BSA candidates due to their technical nature. Candidates must be self-sufficient, able to independently prepare for meetings, and demonstrate senior-level expertise.
• Guidewire PolicyCenter: 4+ years of experience focused primarily on Guidewire PolicyCenter (ideally 70% PolicyCenter / 30% Claims/BillingCenter).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in crafting SQL queries, analyzing logs to identify root causes of minor issues, and hands-on experience with establishing 3rd party integrations, including the creation of data mapping documents and technical specifications.
• Personality: Intellectually curious with the ability to ask the right questions to capture necessary information from stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Commercial Insurance Experience: Some understanding of commercial insurance (e.g., commercial umbrella, commercial property policy, commercial package policy, commercial auto, business owner policy) is preferred. Strong expertise is not required, but having prior experience (even from 4 years ago) is beneficial.

(Note: Personal insurance experience, such as individuals' home or auto insurance, is not applicable for this role.)
