As a HealthEdge Product Architect, you will:
We are seeking an experienced HealthEdge Product Architect with specialized knowledge in Smart Claims Engine (SCE) to design and oversee the development of cutting-edge claims processing solutions. As a Product Architect, you will work with stakeholders to define the product vision, translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, and ensure the seamless integration and optimization of HealthEdge platforms and SCE in the healthcare ecosystem. Your expertise will help drive the next generation of healthcare solutions by improving claims management, operational efficiency, and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
Product Architecture:
Lead the architecture and design of scalable, efficient, and robust solutions for claims processing using HealthEdge platforms, including integration with Smart Claims Engine (SCE).
Define system architecture, data flows, integration patterns, and design principles to ensure seamless interactions between HealthEdge and third-party applications.
Solution Design & Strategy:
Develop and communicate the long-term vision for the product, ensuring alignment with business goals and healthcare regulations.
Translate complex business requirements into high-level design specifications and detailed implementation strategies.
Smart Claims Engine (SCE) Expertise:
Leverage deep knowledge of SCE to architect solutions that optimize claims workflows, decision rules, and data integrity.
Design and implement SCE configurations and integrations within the broader HealthEdge framework.
Integration & Interoperability:
Oversee the integration of HealthEdge platforms with other enterprise systems (e.g., payer systems, claims databases, third-party applications) using APIs, web services, and data exchange standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, EDI).
Ensure smooth data flow and ensure the platform's ability to scale as data volume and processing demands grow.
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and QA testers.
Review and approve technical designs, development progress, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure the architecture and implementation meet healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA) and industry best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact product design and development.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and senior leadership to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Present product roadmaps, design strategies, and technical updates to stakeholders.
Optimization & Performance:
Continuously monitor and improve the performance, efficiency, and reliability of claims processing systems.
Implement performance tuning, scalability, and fault tolerance best practices to ensure a high-quality user experience.
Education Skills:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in HealthEdge platforms, Pega, or cloud technologies are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with healthcare analytics, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Required Skills:
At least 7 years of experience in product architecture, with a focus on claims processing, HealthEdge platforms, and Smart Claims Engine (SCE).
Proven experience in designing and delivering complex, large-scale solutions within the healthcare domain, particularly in payer systems and claims processing.
Technical Expertise:
Extensive experience with HealthEdge platforms (e.g., HealthRules Payor) and their integration with other systems.
Strong knowledge of Smart Claims Engine (SCE) and its application in claims adjudication and management.
Expertise in integration technologies, such as APIs, SOAP/REST, EDI, HL7, and FHIR.
Experience with cloud-based architectures, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Healthcare Domain Knowledge:
Strong understanding of healthcare payer systems, claims adjudication workflows, and compliance regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS).
Leadership & Communication Skills:
Proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with business and product stakeholders to drive solution success.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving & Innovation:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for creating innovative solutions to complex challenges.
Ability to think strategically and make decisions that balance business needs, technical constraints, and compliance requirements.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: 112,000 $ - 131,500 $ Per Year
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
