The Judge Group is looking for a Hospice/Palliative care RN for a permanent position in Vineyard Haven, MA!
Type: Permanent
Location: Vineyard Haven, MA 02568
Shift: Days Monday- Friday, with one weekend once a month
Pay: Flexible and based on experience PLUS SIGN ON BONUS!
** Client offers housing for the first 30 days if needed and will help find housing on the island**
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs.
- Administering medications.
- Managing symptoms and pain.
- Helping during crisis situations.
- Psychosocial support.
- Educating and supporting family caregivers.
Qualifications:
- Current MA nursing license.
- Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited school of nursing
- Hospice and/or Home Health experience preferred
- Two+ years of hospice nursing experience required Two years Med-surge experience preferred but not required
- Must maintain a state drivers' license in good standing, and maintain an automobile in good working order
- Be able to live on Martha's Vineyard Island.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese language preferred
- Rotate weekends with 1 weekend a month mandatory
