Location: Bridgeton, NJ
Salary: $65,000.00 USD Annually - $80,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
We are working with a manufacturer in the Millville-Bridgeton, NJ area seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our human resources function. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong operational focus, able to drive HR initiatives that align with the organization's business objectives. Certifications are desired. Bilingual is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the organization's overall goals.
  • Talent Acquisition: Oversee the entire recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving disputes, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and talent development programs.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and market trends.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs, develop and deliver training programs, and track employee development.
  • HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records.
  • Legal and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience in a leadership role.
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • PHR (Professional in Human Resources)
    • SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources)
    • SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional)
    • SHRM-SCP (SHRM Senior Certified Professional)

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
