HR Business Partner (Bilingual in Spanish)
Company: Location: Lost Hills, CA (WPA Onsite Trailer)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, hours may vary. Some weekends required.
On Call: Yes, 24/7 availability due to three shifts in a food manufacturing plant.
Location: Lost Hills, CA
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000/ Annually
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

About the Role:
VOLT is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Business Partner to join our team in Lost Hills, CA. This role is with a leading company that specializes in providing strategic HR services and staffing solutions tailored for the agricultural and land management industry in California.
What We're Looking For:

Experience: 7+ years in HR, with 5+ years in management.

Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish, knowledge of California Employment Law, Cal-OSHA regulations, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, and performance management.

Other: Valid CA driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
What You'll Do: -
HR Leadership: Drive and implement HR strategies to improve business performance and HR metrics.

Staffing Services: Recruit, screen, hire, place, manage, and train employees for various roles including hand sorter, packer, custodian, quality control, machine operator, and more.

Team Management: Lead and train an on-site team of recruiters, HR generalists, safety coordinators, and administrative staff. Oversee a team of 6-12 direct reports, varying by season. Potentially supervise an additional HR Supervisor.

Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure high levels of customer service.

Process Improvement: Manage and audit HR processes including recruiting, onboarding, attendance tracking, and adherence to workplace policies.

Employee Engagement: Lead employee engagement activities and foster a positive workplace culture.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with employee handbook policies and relevant regulations.
