Position Summary

The Department of Marketing, Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University invites applications for a qualified part-time fixed-term instructor to teach one or more undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Marketing and/or Master of Science in Marketing Research, with possible course creation or additional support for students and/or research. There is a current need in the Marketing Department for an instructor for in-person or online sections of Marketing 313: Consultative Selling and associated in-person coaching of case competitions. Coaching the case competitions may include: occasional off-site travel to competitions, advising students, and serving as the faculty representative in competitions. Please note that a position could be part-time or full-time and may vary by semester, depending on the needs of the department. It is possible that no position will be needed in some semesters. Renewal may be possible based on department teaching needs, funding, and performance. Salary and terms are negotiable depending on experience and rank.

Required Degree

Masters -Business, marketing, or related

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must have a masters degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. Candidates must be available for occasional in-person case competitions.

Desired Qualifications

Demonstrated record of teaching excellence.
