Ultimate Staffing is looking for a temporary Office Manager for a client in Baltimore County! We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager with accounting duties to join our team on a temporary basis. If you are proactive, adaptable, and have a strong background in both office administration and accounting, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and maintaining office systems.
* Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.
* Prepare financial reports, track budgets, and assist with month-end reconciliation.
* Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
* Manage office communication, including answering phone calls, handling emails, and coordinating with vendors.
* Provide administrative support to senior management and assist with various office-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in office management and accounting.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and discretion with confidential information.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Previous experience in payroll and invoicing is a plus.
* High school diploma required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field is preferred.
