Job Summary

Assist engineers in investigation, design, and verification of a product in valve, pump, spray, fluid jetting systems, plasma treatment, and related automation.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Instrument and analyze electromechanical and fluid mechanisms to quantify performance
• Create SolidWorks models and drawings
• Design tests and experiments to direct design choices
• Discover and mitigate design risks through FMEA's and design reviews
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

Education:

• Junior or Senior engineering student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering

Experience:

• SolidWorks modeling and drafting experience
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Statics, Dynamics, Electrical circuits
• Prototype part fabrication and/or assembly experience
• Experienced with laboratory instruments - oscilloscopes, pressure transducers, RTD's
• Basic software skills may include Python, C++, Java

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

100% on site (no remote) Mix of office and laboratory environment with requirements to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for handling of chemicals, working with high power electronics, and automated mechanical systems.
