RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking an IT Project Manager in Fontana, CA. The IT Project Manager will be expected to be onsite at various client sites throughout the San Bernardino County Service Area, along with occasional visits (onsite presence) to facilities in the Riverside County Service Area. Travel will typically remain within a 30-mile radius. Summary:This position will be within the National Facilities Services (NFS) group which is responsible for the successful delivery of capital construction and IT infrastructure refresh projects through disciplined IT project management processes and close collaboration with business partners, team members and various IT functions. The IT Project Manager will ensure that space, power and cooling are sufficient to meet the upgraded network and telephony needs in the client's medical and administrative buildings. The IT Project Manager will assume end-to-end project accountability to ensure delivery of IT solutions and services that provide the highest value in support of capital construction and IT infrastructure refresh projects. Responsibilities:- Provide project leadership to motivate project team members, set achievable objectives, maintain a positive outlook, take responsibility, make decisions and provide constructive feedback
- Create, track and monitor project plans using MS Project to ensure the project is on schedule and budget
- Ensure project data is accurate and available for review by management and ensure that management is proactively informed of potential problems and risks so that they can be mitigated/ resolved
- Utilize a proactive change control process
- Use negotiation skills to achieve successful project outcomes around issues, scope, schedule, costs/budget and resources
- Manage the project /budget process
- Matrix manage project managers and teams from other IT groups who supply resources and services to the project
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree or 4 years of additional experience required
- 8+ years of project management experience is required, including a strong understanding of IT Infrastructure (WAN, LAN, VoIP and WLAN) projects is required
- 5+ years of progressive experience as a project manager that includes managing implementations of medium to large moderately complex to highly complex projects
- Strong customer focus
- Broad understanding of IT infrastructure and technology
- Ability to monitor and manage vendor performance
- General understanding of the health care industry
- Able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties
- Must be self-motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills
- Proven oral and written communication skills; Excellent business presentation skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Effectively interface with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units
- Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization
- Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
