General Overview
Mass General Brigham's Office of General Counsel Employment Section seeks to hire an attorney to handle labor and employment matters. The position will involve significant responsibility for labor relations matters, including negotiating collective bargaining agreements, advising clients through the grievance/arbitration process, providing legal and strategic advice during union organizing campaigns, and representing clients in unfair labor practice proceedings. The position also will have responsibility to advise and support clients on a broad range of employment issues, including hiring, discipline, MCAD/EEOC cases, policy development, employment agreements and separation agreements.
The OGC team is highly collaborative, collegial, and dedicated to providing the strategic legal advice and guidance necessary to fulfill the system's four-part clinical, research, academic and community mission. The work is challenging, fast-paced and rewarding, both professionally and personally.
