RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a L&D Specialist in Doral, FL. The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs for the company. this role collaborates with stakeholders to prepare relevant training materials and supports effective implementation. They coordinate related logistics, support in conducting train-the-trainer sessions, and help evaluate program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement. The Learning and Development Specialist will also help monitor destination compliance training activities and draw accurate reports as needed.Major Action and Support Actions:
  • Create engaging and informative training materials, including presentations, manuals, guides, and learning content, to support destination training programs
  • Ensure that materials are kept updated, consistent and relevant
  • Create and maintain knowledge articles, including guidelines using SharePoint to ensure curation and consistent content delivery
Program Support
  • Offer support and guidance during the implementation of training programs, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise and ensuring that training objectives are met
  • Support new and existing training activities on-site and off-site, including coordination with respective teams for scheduling, venue bookings, trainer coordination, procuring and securing materials, to ensure smooth and timely implementation of the program
  • Support any post-training activity, as needed
Communication and Collaboration:
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with all stakeholders, internal and external
  • Collaborate across L&D and other teams in the design and implementation of training initiatives
  • Participate in and/or facilitate meetings, presentations and follow through with any post activity in a timely manner


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Education, Communication preferred
  • At least 12 months of experience in a medium-large corporate setting with cross functional collaboration being a key function
  • Previous internships in a large company will be advantageous
  • Some experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry
  • Proficiency in Office 365 for Business with SharePoint required


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
