JOB SUMMARY:

The Logistics Manager will oversee and manage the entire logistics and supply chain operations to ensure the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers. This role involves coordinating transportation, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

LOCATION: Nashua, NH (onsite)

SALARY: $80,000 - $100,000/annually

SCHEDULE: 8:00AM - 5:00PM (Monday - Friday)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory. Implement inventory control systems and processes.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. Ensure proper layout, space utilization, and inventory accuracy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers. Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
  • Prepare and manage the logistics budget, ensuring expenditures are within budgetary limits. Identify and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Utilize logistics software and technology to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team to achieve operational excellence. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with a proven track record of managing complex logistics operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, customers, and team members.
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and technologies, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with budget management and cost control.
