What to Expect

The Manager, IT Quality Management is responsible for overseeing and implementing quality management processes and procedures throughout the IT project lifecycle. This role involves collaborating with project teams to ensure deliverables meet or exceed quality standards, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, this role will play a critical role in maintaining a quality-focused culture within the organization.

What You Will Do

1. Quality Planning:

• Develop and implement project-specific quality plans in alignment with organizational quality policies and standards.

• Collaborate with project teams to identify quality objectives and key performance indicators.

2. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.

• Establish and maintain a system for documenting, tracking, and reporting quality.

• Establishing and ensuring quality improvement measures related to data optimization projects and environmental projects.

3. Quality Control:

• Implement effective processes for inspecting and verifying project deliverables against established quality criteria.

• Collaborate with project teams to address and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

4. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance overall project quality.

• Facilitate lessons learned sessions and contribute to the development of best practices.

5. Training and Development:

• Provide training on quality management principles and practices to project teams.

• Work with project managers to ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet quality objectives.

6. Communication:

• Communicate quality expectations to all stakeholders and ensure a shared understanding of quality requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality excellence.

7. Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation related to Quality management processes, procedures, and best practices.

• Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team.

8. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring

• Minimum 8 years related experience in IT quality management.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Project Management).

• Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is

• desirable.

• Strong knowledge of quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and their application in project

• environments.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Strong Team orientation and skilled in working independently and managing multiple tasks.

• Self-directed and results oriented.

• High degree of subject matter expertise in financial services industry particularly as it relates to system and operational workflow.

• Skilled with project and presentation software including PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, Excel, and Word.

Work Environment

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.

The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
