Volt is immediately hiring for Manufacturing Engineering Technician in Tualatin, Oregon
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will be Responsible for:
- Understand a practice Lock Out Tag Out
- Strong electrical, mechanical, & pneumatic troubleshooting experience
- Familiar with basic microcomputer skills necessary to understand the operation and interfacing characteristics of microprocessors. This includes I/O and interfacing concepts, software interaction, applications, programming languages and techniques.
- Familiarity with Windows & Linux operating systems.
- Troubleshoot network, printer, driver, & software issues
- Needs to regularly read and update technical documentation & schematics
- Familiarity with C#/C++/Labview /NodRed programming a plus
- Familiarity with PLCs a plus
What you will do: - Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize down time.
- Identify & recommend solutions to manufacturing engineering and Test & Automation engineering teams to fix equipment & process issues
- Install, maintain, dismantle, repair, overhaul, and rebuild electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic equipment and components
- Perform equipment calibrations & coordinate on/off-site calibrations
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Regularly document activities & maintain troubleshooting documentation
- Support & deploy digital smart factory tools in the facility
- Promote & support lean manufacturing activities
- Maintain & improve 5S in own areas
- Promote a safety & quality first culture
- Regularly communicate with technical peers
- 2-year degree in electro-mechanical, electronic technology, or equivalent education AND a minimum of two years of electromechanical work experience OR five plus years of experience in a related field
- Familiar with standard recognized troubleshooting practices.
- Able to reference National Electrical Code
- Able to read mechanical blueprints/wiring diagrams or schematics.
Shift: 1St - 8:00am to 5:00pm Duration: 12 + month Location: Tualatin, Oregon Work Schedule: Onsite Pay rate: $33/hr. to $35/hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
