Market Manager - Orange County

Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually
Description: Our client, with strong portfolio in the spirits/wine industry, is currently seeking a Market Manager based in Orange County. On-premise focus but blend of off/on partnering with RNDC. Strong bonus on top of base salary and car allowance/reports into fabulous State Manager (that I placed!)

The Market Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering volume, distribution, and merchandising performance across the assigned market covering all channels of business, both on and off-premise.

Responsibilities:

•Manage Company brand portfolio within assigned market

•Ensure the planning and implementation of sales programming in all markets

•Ensure POS and other marketing assets are utilized in the field with correct programs

•Merchandising and building displays

•Implement creative programs to activate the consumer, including product sampling and demos •Spend time each month surveying the market to ensure that distribution, pricing, POS, displays, programs, menus, and ads are executed to standard

•Travel within territory to actively engage accounts

Qualifications:

•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

•Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal, including strong presentation skills

•Organizational skills

•Ability to work independently with little direction or supervision; "self-starter"

•Willing to be very "hands-on" to get the job accomplished.

•Proficient in Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, and Power Point

•Valid driver's license and ability to drive and travel 4-5 days per week required

•Minimum 1-2 years experience in the wine and spirits industry
