Responsibilities:
- The marketing communications specialist works independently and with the manager and director of marketing to implement consumer and physician marketing plans to promote strategic priorities of Holy Cross Health and its operating divisions, Holy Cross Hospital, Holy Cross Germantown Hospital and Holy Cross Health Network.
- Major responsibilities include writing, editing and proofreading materials
- Managing the development, design and production of materials
- Supporting marketing campaigns; writing, editing and managing the production and distribution of newsletters
- Supporting the development and production of content for the hospital's website and social media presence
- Coordinating mailing lists and events; and supporting the mission of Holy Cross Health and Trinity Health
What you will need:
- A four-year college degree is required, preferably in communications, journalism, marketing, business or a related field.
- A minimum of three years' experience in communications or marketing, preferably in a health care setting.
- Must have superior writing and oral communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to coordinate multiple priorities, deadlines, people and projects.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently. Ability to work effectively with internal clients and collaborators.
- Must be proficient in computers.
- Experience/knowledge of graphic design is desirable; preference for proficiency with desk-top publishing packages.
- Experience or interest in digital marketing is preferable
