Overview

Proven ability to learn, retain, and place into practice the implementation and management of a mobile operations environment and MDM program for American Residential Services, LLC. Experience crafting operating procedures, managing hundreds of employee-owned devices and overseeing third-party service providers, resulting in a highly scalable and secure mobile infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develop, install, configure, support, manage and optimize a mobile infrastructure
  • Reduces risk through the development and implementation of MDM policies-including security and reporting
  • Authors, manage, support, troubleshoot and optimize MDM architecture
  • Creates and maintain list and count of wireless devices (e.g.: phones, tablets, etc.)
  • Creates training materials (as required) for migration of existing devices to new MDM platform
  • Receives direction and pose recommendations as to how to maximize the MDM Platform, architecture and policies going forward
  • Exercises judgment to prioritize activities in completing key projects and daily workload, effectively apply time management skills, and work closely with others on the IT team and Vice President of IT to identify new opportunities to formulate and implement that will result in a financial impact on business operations
  • Has fundamental understanding of network and Internet concepts (e.g.: firewalls, Web browsers, TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, etc.)
  • Wireless network (Wi-Fi) set-up
  • Wireless device operation and set-up (e.g.: email, app download, system settings, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Android and iOS devices
  • Outstanding customer service skills as well as strong verbal and written communication
  • Performs daily monitoring of mobility systems
  • Supports and maintain the corporate enterprise mobility devices and platform
  • Deploys new technologies and solutions as driven by internal architect and engineering
  • Works closely with engineers to architect, develop and optimize the mobile infrastructure
  • Creates security and device management policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or 1 year of work experience involving MDM setup and operation.
  • Must have good organizational, troubleshooting, and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
