We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Biller to join our healthcare team in the Nashua, NH area. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by managing patient billing and accounts receivable. You will be responsible for accurately processing medical claims, resolving billing issues, and maintaining up-to-date patient records. SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

SALARY: $24-$30/hourly depending on experience and qualifications

LOCATION: Nashua, NH (on-site)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Prepare and submit accurate claims to insurance companies and patients.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Review and appeal denied claims.
  • Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
  • Communicate with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer regulations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Generate and analyze billing reports.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing or a related role.
  • Proficiency with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and billing regulations.
