We have an opening for a Medical Insurance Coordinator! This is a permanent position (must live in MN)! Great culture! Full Benefits!

Pay: $25-$28/hour starting!

M-F 8:00 - 4:30 PM

Location: Minneapolis/Saint Paul

Job Duties:

  • Monitor and track file statuses through phone calls or online portals, ensuring timely updates.
  • Verify that submitted prior authorizations are processed within the designated timeframe set by management.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for pending prior authorization submissions with the client's insurer.
  • Place orders within the CRM system upon receiving approvals.
  • Document customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and follow-up actions, while adhering to HIPAA compliance.
  • Maintain working knowledge of customer relations systems, Microsoft Office, and relevant databases.
  • Respond promptly and document communications via e-mail, phone, fax, chat, or mail.
  • Collect and maintain accurate medical data to support process improvements and audits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years Customer Service experience
  • 2+ years of medical insurance experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient with computers and able to learn new programs quickly.
