Job Summary

The Molding Technician is responsible for the installation, removal, and upkeep of the molds and mold components used in the manufacturing process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspect molds and components for damage
  • Report damage to the Production Manager; repair minor damage and replace parts, as needed
  • Clean molds and components and transport them to and from mold storage area
  • Install and replace hydraulic and water lines of each press as needed
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
  • Installation of any ancillary equipment related to mold set
Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics and limit switches
  • Experience using basic hand and power tools
  • Injection molding experience a plus
  • Mold setting experience a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day
