BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Acute Hospital Inpatient Coder at Remote.

Position Title: Acute Hospital Inpatient Coder

Location: Remote
Anticipated Start Date: 11/11/2024

Expected Duration: 3-4+ Months

Job Type: [FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY)/ [TEMP], [Remote]
Pay Range: $40/Hr - $45/Hr

Requirements:

The purpose of a unit profile is to help provide an exceptional understanding of the unit. Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Below you will find a data collection tool to help you identify essential data needed to complete your profile..

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Must Have Skills/Experience:

* 2 years acute inpatient coding experience
* Certified Coding Specialist credential (CCS)

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

* Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT)
* Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA)
* Type of Patients on Unit: n/a
* Personality Fit:

Dress Code:

* Scrub Color: n/a.

Required Certifications: CCS
* Years of Experience: 2 years acute inpatient coding experience
