We are seeking Master's and MBA students majoring in Finance, Statistics, Marketing, Business, Computer Coding, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Data Analytics, Healthcare Management, or a related field for three 12-Week Student Intern roles to be working in Gaithersburg, MD for a May/June - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
This role has three separate headcount for the description listed below.
- Drive impact through supporting market research that connects insights to business tactics.
- Support data analytics workstream.
- Coordinate with the insights and analytics team to answer key business questions from the brand/commercial stakeholders.
- Assist the forecasting team by collaborating, develop insightful presentations, leading cross-functional discussions on assumptions during forecasting cycles.
- Work with internal insights managers and external research suppliers to manage performance tracking results, interpretation of findings, and any actional recommendations to the brand.
Position Requirements:
- Master's and MBA students majoring in Finance, Statistics, Marketing, Business, Computer Coding, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Data Analytics, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
- Microsoft Office experience including Excel modeling and building PowerPoint presentations required.
- Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biopharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
- Analytics, statistics, data science or coding experience is preferred.
- Exposure to multiple APLD sources such as Claims and EMR is preferred.
- Robust analytical skills in problem-solving, forecasting and data modeling are preferred.
- Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
- US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
- This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.
- Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD for 3-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
- Minimum grade point average of 3.0
