Baer is looking for an Oracle Supply Chain & Manufacturing SCM Lead for a 12+ month project located in ALSIP, IL.

Title: Oracle Supply Chain & Manufacturing SCM Lead
Location: Hybrid - ALSIP, IL
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end supply chain processes within Oracle Fusion ERP, including manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and reporting.
• Collaborate with the System Integrator (SI) to ensure supply chain requirements are accurately captured and integrated into the ERP system.
• Ensure the ERP system supports necessary supply chain operations, optimizing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee the validation of supply chain data to ensure accuracy and completeness, working with the SI to develop and execute data migration plans.
• Ensure data integrity throughout the data migration process, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring smooth data flow.
• Engage with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide updates on project progress, aligning the ERP solution with business needs.
• Advise and guide stakeholders, challenging and influencing practices to ensure future-state designs are optimized for both efficiency and end-user experience.
• Facilitate communication between supply chain, manufacturing teams, project teams, and the SI to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
• Ensure the ERP system complies with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the ERP implementation, ensuring the solution meets organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Co-design and co-deliver training programs for supply chain and manufacturing staff on the new Oracle Fusion ERP system.
• Provide ongoing support to supply chain and manufacturing users post-implementation to ensure a smooth transition and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with other project streams (PMO, technical, functional, data, change management) to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach across the project.
• Collaborate with the SI to align on project goals, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring effective project execution.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in supply chain and manufacturing roles, including at least one full ERP implementation cycle.
• Proven track record of managing supply chain processes, manufacturing operations, and data validation within ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing principles, including value chain management, logistics, inventory control, and manufacturing operations.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards applicable to supply chain and manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably with hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and other supply chain/manufacturing software.
• Professional supply chain certifications preferred (e.g., APICS, CSCP).
