Arkansas State University Newport seeks qualified applicants for the position of Part-time Welding Technology Lab Assistant. This position is housed on the ASUN Jonesboro campus.

The successful candidate will assist the instructor in the welding training lab. The primary duties of a Lab Assistant include working closely with students and the faculty member to assist students while utilizing the training lab.The right candidate will be willing to work cooperatively with other departments of the college in a learning-centered environment.

Preferred qualifications include five years of experience in welding or a closely related manufacturing environment. Knowledge of tools and equipment used in this setting is required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
